“It’s in Our Hands”
The
census is a count of everyone residing
in the United States. All U. S.
residents must be counted –both citizens
and non-citizens.
Census forms will be delivered or mailed
to households starting in March
2010. By answering 10 simple
questions you can help determine how
more than $400 billion per year in
federal funds will get dispersed on
education, public transportation, job
training programs, healthcare and much
more. Take time to make a difference by
completing and returning your census
form. Census questionnaires are
available at select public sites for
individuals who do not receive a form by
mail. During the months of May and
June, census takers will visit
households that did not return a
questionnaire by mail. For more
