His vision is to see the citizens of Mansfield and the Police Department to come together with one common goal which is to have a safe, appealing community.

What Captain Hobbs most wants to accomplish is to provide an efficient, professional Police Department that is sensitive to the needs of our community and that provides "service" as well as "Law Enforcement" to the people we serve.

His hobbies include traveling with Harvest Outreach Ministries on mission trips to Angola State Penitentiary and various other state prisons. I also work closely with the Louisiana Prison Chapel Foundation in raising funds to build Chapels at all of the State Prison facilities.
